DISCOVER YOUR NEW FAVORITE T-SHIRTS!
Overview
Thanks for checking out this Kickstarter project. While I design mostly womenswear for my clothing line, Graey, I've designed a couple of men's graphic tees in the past, and my guy friends have been asking for more. My East Village apartment is too small to carry inventory, and it always ends up that my friend who's a L wants a tee but all I've got left is a S, so I decided to launch this project to presell the tees to deal with this issue.
The money raised in this project will go towards printing the tees (there is a 24 piece minimum per style) on super soft Alternative Apparel tees (we will be printing on the very lightweight 3.7oz Unisex Dean Slub crew). Printing will be done in the United States. A portion of the funds will also go to my collaborators.
The Collaborators
I'm excited about this project because two of my friends have designed a tee for me. The first is George, a very talented photographer who has designed this sacred heart tee:

The heart will be printed in gold, and the wings and vine in silver, on a grey shirt.
The other is my childhood friend Graham, a NY Times Graphics editor who has the distinction of being my middle school Science Olympiad partner (we made a trajectory device that kicked). He has designed a firefly whose tail glows in the dark:

The body will be printed in white, and the tail will be printed in glow-in-the-dark ink, on a navy blue shirt.
The Rest...
I've designed three tees. First is the glow-in-the-dark Abraham Lincoln, because the only thing cooler than Abraham Lincoln is glow-in-the-dark Abraham Lincoln!

It will be printed with glow-in-the-dark ink on a black t-shirt.
Next is the lioness, which was inspired by my friend Justin's Kenyan safari pictures. He showed me one of a lioness and told me I resembled one because of my blonde hair, so I found this photo:

and did a sketch and ended up with this tee:

The lioness will be printed in neon chartreuse ink on a grey shirt.
Finally, we have the medals tee. My friend Mike suggested the idea, and I got some help from my friend Steve, a marine. These are a representation of the ribbons and a few of the medals he has.

This tee will be printed in multiple colors on a navy blue shirt.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THESE IMAGES ARE DIGITAL MOCKUPS AND THE FINAL PRINTED TEES MAY DIFFER SLIGHTLY FROM THE PHOTOS SHOWN.
