Video documentary / travelogue of life in Japan, focusing on things important for first time travelers.
Many people would like to visit Japan, but are often hesitant due to things such as cultural and language barriers. Japan can be a very confusing place, since many aspects of their way of life are so different from our own.
I would like to make a video travelogue that concentrates on important things for first time visitors. The finished DVD would consist of things such as: showing various locations of Japan, commentary on various social aspects, pointing out things such as hospitals and police stations and how to contact them, a look at how to travel by train and much more.
I have a friend in Japan who is Japanese but speaks English, so the information you get will be from both me and from someone who actually lives in Japan. Therefore, you are not just getting information from a visitor, but also a citizen of Japan.
Many areas in Japan will be covered, not just Tokyo. There will be looks at different locals, from cities to small towns to shrines.
