Megan Adams brings a brand new work that speaks about everyday individuals put in extreme situations and emerge heroes. Adams works with a cast of three female dancers to connect recent disasters by focusing on the individuals who's actions limited the amount of devastation left behind.
Megan Adams graduated with her B.A. in dance from Columbia College Chicago. Under professional direction at Columbia College she performed in the original cast of “Liquidate” by Kate Corby, “More Vigorous Than Empathy” by Margaret Morris and “Set and Reset/Reset” choreographed by Trisha Brown under the direction of Mariah Maloney. Adams choreographed a site-specific piece, “Universal Ancestor” performed at Columbia’s writing center and “Time Stories” performed at the Dance Center of Columbia College. Most recently Adams produced Held an evening length dance concert of her own original works. She has performed in Stephanie Williams’ concerts Traces in June 2010 and Hidden/dig-Push/reveal in August 2011. Williams and Adams self produced their first original dance concert Presentation of Reverberation in September 2009. Adams work will also be presented at Access Living, an advocate for independent living of disabled adults, in May 2012.
Stephanie Williams recreates "1980; Until I'm Full", a work exploring the cycle of a heroin addiction. By pulling from the physical effects of using the drug, she pushes the performers to a place of discovery that will capture the audience. This work is inspired by those we've lost to addiction in an attempt to understand.

She currently teaches dance technique with Mazi Dance Fitness, Zephyr, and the Grayslake Park District as well as teaching at Barre Bee Fit and North Park University.
