About this project

'On Cold April' is the name of my upcoming photo show. The opening will be on July 25th at the Cafecito Bogota in Brooklyn, NY. The show will be comprised of images I photographed on-set during production of the short movie Cold April - a powerful drama set in the all-girls St. Maria Goretti School at the start of the 1994 Rwandan genocide.

A portion of the proceeds from image sales during the run of the show (July 25th to August 25th) will go to the Kuki Ndiho Rwandan Orphans Support Project. The images will also be shown and for sale at the July 22nd benefit and preview screening of the movie hosted by Piper Theatre company in Brooklyn.

As this is my first solo show I am currently waist-deep in the process of selecting images and sizes and framing options for the prints to hang on the walls of the beautiful Cafecito Bogota.

My aim is to produce:

- salable prints of the highest quality in hopes that the proceeds can produce a large donation to Kuki Ndiho.

- prints as gifts to give to the actors and crew of the production as well as to Piper Theatre company for their support of the film.

As print and framing costs for quality photographic presentation are not easily affordable, I am humbly seeking sponsorship to allow for the listed goals to be met.

As with the sale of the images during the show, a significant portion of all money pledged to this project will be donated in the benefactor's name to the Kuki Ndiho Rwandan Orphans Support Project.
