Kickstarter

What a great weekend for GLMT on Kickstarter!  Over $1000 pledged, and we stand right now on the brink of $4000, well over halfway there!  Thanks to all who have pledged, and who continue to pass the word.  We can't let down our guard.  We have 33 days remaining on Kickstarter, and about $3600 to go.  If you know of individuals who think like you, and who would like to see us reach our goal, please give them a shout.  And if anybody has questions for me, I can be reached at jack@jacknearyonline.com, or at 978-853-9620.  Thank you all again!

As we approach the $2500 mark, we have just learned that Boston television legend and multiple Emmy Award winner DICK FLAVIN has joined our cast as Mayor Shinn!  Dick recently performed in a production of his own one-man play, ACCORDING TO TIP at the Lyric Stage in Boston, and is currently putting together AN EVENING WITH DICK FLAVIN for a presentation in Framingham in April.  We are very fortunate to have him on board!  Pass the word!

The temperature soars to 50 degrees in southern New Hampshire and my friend Donna's SECOND contribution gets us to the 20 Trombone mark--$2000!  Sincere thanks to all our supporters who continue to pass the word! 

Checking in later in the day than usual, and we're closing in on 20 trombones.  Contributions as of 4 pm, EST stand at $1860.  If I knew how to spell Hallelujah I'd say "Hallelujah!" Thanks for passing the word!

What a treat to come home from the closing of my play, SANDBAG, STAGE LEFT last night to find another $500 pledged!  We stand now about a mouthpiece away from the 15th trombone, at $1485.  I know how challenging it is to give these days, and I'm touched and honored by the early flurry of donations.  We have until April 15 to reach our goal of $7600, and this weekend certainly offered hope that we may really get there.  Thanks again to all.  Please keep passing the word about the show, and especially about the Kickstarter SITE!
