Dear Kickstarter Friends...

I hope those of you in the eastern Massachusetts, southern New Hampshire area get a chance to see THE GLMT MELODY CAVALCADE, our live-on-stage radio show coming up Thursday and Friday, March 15 and 16 at 7:30 pm in Fisher Hall, 35 Wilder Street, UMass Lowell.  (Same building where MUSIC MAN was performed last summer.)  Mara Bonde, Laura Sanscartier, Leon Grande, Jonas Trach (little "Winthrop") and Dick Flavin from MUSIC MAN will be on-hand to perform, joined by Celtic harpist Jaimee Joroff, Michael Lally, Jerry Bisantz, Steve Gagliastro, Annie Kerins, our terrific chorus and our Little Big Band to bring you some of the great tunes from the American Songbook and Broadway.  There'll also be plenty of laughs and surprises.  The Kickstarter Discount button is still active on the GLMT web site, so please visit the site, click on the button and get a $20 ticket for only $12.50!  Hope to see you at the show!

It will be an evening of great tunes from the airwaves, movies, concert halls and from Broadway, with some laughs along the way! To All The Supporters of the Greater Lowell Music Theatre...

With the great success, thanks to you, of THE MUSIC MAN IN CONCERT in August of 2012, the Greater Lowell Music Theatre is proud to announce that we'll be back in 2013 with TWO great shows.

On March 15 and 16, we will present the GLMT MELODY CAVALCADE, which will be an original musical show written by Jack Neary, and which will feature some of the great pop, jazz and Broadway songs of all time, selected by our Music Director, Leon Grande.  The show will be performed in Fisher Hall at UMass Lowell.  We're currently putting the cast together, so please keep following our posts for further updates.  Tickets will go on sale early in 2013, and information will be available on our web site, www.glmt.org, in a couple of weeks.

And in July, we plan to produce Frank Loesser's classic Broadway smash, GUYS AND DOLLS!  Please check our website for dates and more specific information as 2013 gets under way.
