The "Ah-ha!" moment...
When my husband’s Ipad® was sitting on the counter in the kitchen
and a bottle of wine fell and shattered barely missing the device....
I thought why is there not a wall mounted storage item to hold this thing
and get it up off of my counters, tables & night stands.
I got on the phone with my partner about the problem and we started to kick around the idea of the MyPad!™
It is pretty simple really...a home for your Ipad®, tablet and e-readers.
A place to store your devices when they are not in use, while keeping it accessible.
As a mom of 2 toddlers with sticky little fingers reaching for the very thing they aren’t supposed to have, I am constantly looking for new storage solutions.
My design partner was looking to solve the problem of lack of counter space in his home.
We believe we have come up with a very simple solution to our dilemma...
Introducing the MyPad!™
The MyPad!™ is designed to store your device vertically to help avoid accidents and maximize your counter and flat surface spaces.
The MyPad!™ can sit on your counter, desk or table top. It can also be wall mounted with included hardware. This option allows you to free up space on your desk.
The MyPad!™ is made of durable plastic material and will be manufactured in the US.
The cord access slot allows you to run your charging cord from the MyPad!™ to the wall outlet. So you can charge your device while sitting or hanging in the MyPad!™
The biggest challenge we had was finding a way to create a storage unit
that allows you to access your device, plug in your cord to charge and
can be hung on the wall or sit on your counter.
We realize
there are plenty of charging stations, holders, covers and easels for
your devices. The MyPad!™ is addressing the need to store your device
safely in or out of its case when not being used.
Our 2nd working prototype has allowed us to finalize the design.
We have made our adjustments are now ready to be funded in order to invest in the molds for production.
The final design of the MyPad!™ will have a soft anti-skid rubber grip along the base. Unlike our prototypes that had a flat appearance the final design will have dimension as in the images below. We plan on making the MyPad!™ available in a variety of colors.
The MyPad!™ is a must for anyone who is tired of your devices laying on counters, tables, couches or even the floor!
You will want one of these in every room you use your devices -the kitchen, bedroom, office, living room and yes even your bathroom!
Since the MyPad!™ is not specifically for any one device you can rest any Tablet, Kindle, Nook or other E-Reader Device. You can even use to store gaming devices.

THE MANUFACTURING PLAN
Our manufacturing and assembly will be done in the US, using high quality local experts in machining and manufacturing.
We are proud to be working with a full service domestic manufacturer in our home state of Delaware to produce this product.
Our fundraising goal of $65K represents the amount we will need to safely cover all of our start up costs for the first production run.
This amount includes injection molds & material, packaging, hardware bags, labor, production and shipping.
Manufacturing schedule:
- End of Kickstarter campaign.
- Up to 20 days for funds to clear.
- Week 1: Order placed for the MyPad!™ injection molds, materials, components and packaging.
- Week 1-8: Mold production for MyPad!™
- Week 4-6: Packaging & Components received and quality checked.
- Week 8-10: First production samples run and quality checked. Adjustments to molds made as necessary and final production samples made for approval.
- Week 11-12: Production of the MyPad!™ & limited edition colors produced as needed.
– Week 13- MyPad!™ is packed out.
- Week 14: Shipping of the MyPad!™ as promised.
Based on above - we are expecting to ship at the end of November/start of December.
