What's so Radical about our eats?

Radical Eats is a small restaurant dedicated to sharing urban farming with its customers and the community.  It's not uncommon to see farmers walking in the doors with bumper crops of produce or chefs watering greens on the back patio. We focus on locally grown produce to create our all vegan and mostly gluten-free menu. In addition to this we provide a space for meetings, documentary films and community outreach.

Our Project?

We are transforming our vegetable garden into a beer and wine garden.  Why? It will allow us to reach a broader audience.  It's one thing to preach to the choir and another to teach the whole community.  What better way to learn about food security than with an ice cold beer in a relaxing well lit vegetable patio?

What's the money for?

The bulk of the money will go to a beer and wine license but we will also be purchasing a good water filtration device and some better air conditioning.  The patio itself will be built using all recycled materials so the only cost will be food for the volunteers.
