  After decades of working in bands as a professional bassist in New York City and touring all over the U.S, Canada, and Europe, I am finally stepping out from the shadows of sideman status, and exploring my own voices as a composer, utilizing the unique timbres of custom made 7 string fretted and fretless basses as the, i quote  "strangely evocative" lead instruments.

  I believe their "extended range" capabilities have much to contribute to the evolution of modern music, and the feedback, testimonials, and press generated by the material I've released thus far, is an ever growing testament to the influence it's having on players of all genres of music, and listeners alike...young and old.

 The videos, and recordings were all done at home with little to no budget. Written and performed by myself, and fundamentally experimental, they draw inspiration from classical music, as well as rock, funk, jazz, and ambient...( all genres of music I've entertained over the years...). Since they are rapidly growing in popularity and influence on Youtube, Facebook, and more, my goal is to remix, and master the existing recordings so they can be suitable for broadcast, sale and most importantly, enjoyable listening.

 Thanks to the digital medium, this can be done quite easily, utilizing a professional caliber studio with an engineer, equipment, resources and objectivity above what I have at home to improve overall sound quality and clarity. My plan is to release them as digital downloads on Itunes, Amazon, Cd Baby and the like, as well as both a CD and DVD, where the video performance footage will act as both a "how to" tool for players ( reminiscent of instructional videos that inspired me in my youth...) and insight on how this unusual music is written and performed.

 I'm hoping for $3,500 to cover the costs of remixing, mastering, duplication of CD/DVD "hard copies" with artwork ( of my own...) as well as some promotional costs. I'm here to hopefully finance what's quickly becoming a documented source of inspiration for musicians and composers all over the globe. I honestly didn't expect my home videos to be this well received, but now that i see they are, I'm hoping to offer the best quality product that i can.
