Help Rural record some new songs!

Rural (Kevin Stewart and Bernie Gelman) is ready to head back into the studio to do some more recording. We're making great progress and we'd really like to keep moving. Unfortunately, studio costs have been prohibitive for us and it would be a real shame to let things get bogged down just because we can't afford to record!

Risks and challenges Learn about accountability on Kickstarter

Right now we have 4 songs recorded that need to have vocals, Rhodes, and some guitar added, in addition to being mixed; furthermore, we have another set of four or five songs that we'd like to do basic tracking for (the video above is a stripped down, guitar-and-drums live performance of one of them) . We'd like to book a day in a studio (this will cost ~$450) to do all of that, and that's where you come in. With your help, we can crank out these new songs instead of sitting on these tracks for months, waiting until we can save up to go back to the studio. In addition to the rewards to the right, any contribution will also earn the inclusion of your name in a "thank you" in the liner notes for the eventual full-length release!
