Howdy all! Just wanted to say hey and thanx again for your pledge. Also wanted to give you all a heads up. We have yet to begin recording the new masterpiece. Ha! But we will keep you all posted. And we obviously will not be mailing out any of the rewards until this baby is in the can. Update #9: THANK U THANK U THANK U!!!
We Did It! Or should i say, YOU DID IT! I don't really know if i can sum this all up in words, but i will make an attempt. In short, we are very, very, very thankful for all of your pledges and support and help in spreading the word and making this happen. Seems a bit surreal to be completely honest with you. It all started with a simple email from Steve Tulipana asking if we would ever even consider doing a "reunion" show for the Middle Of The Map Fest. I was very much into the idea, but i just really, honestly didn't think that everybody would be into it and/or available. A few phone calls and a couple texts later and not only was everyone into doing the show, but it was set, lets make a new record! That all kinda started thanks to Scott McMillian i guess? I do not really know if he was even serious when he texted me saying, "lets make a new record"? But, i had the thought already raging inside of my head and all i needed was one band member to say it. I thought everybody might think i was crazy if i brought it up, but once i read his text, it was on! So here we are. 2012. Molly McGuire is gonna make a brand new record. Ha! Thanks to all of you that is! This should be AWESOME!!!

I can't believe this is happening either. Everyone who has ever known me knows that Molly McGuire has always and will always be my all time favorite band in my lifetime. I am just beside myself with what is happening right now. The birth of my daughter was the best day of my life. Seeing Molly McGuire actually play again in front of my eyes on April 5th, will without a doubt be the second best day of my life. My thanks to Steve Tulipana for lighting the fuse on this. Thank you Scotty. Thank you Blackie, Tobes, Gerken, and Ray. I haven't gone to see a band play live in probably two years. I think the last time I went to a bar was over a year ago! This is gonna be a HUGE night for me!!!!!! YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Really, really pleased this has come together for you guys. Congratulations all around. Kansas City could use another good dose of the sound that used to come from here, and only here. Now go make that album amazing. For what its worth, my copy of Sister's Of... is starting to wear thin.

Singer, songwriter, guitarist and lover of music, motorcycles and fireworks. Born and raised in Kansas City Missouri. Hearing Jimi Hendrix on headphones at a very young age made me want to play guitar. Seeing Black Flag when i was fourteen made me want to start a band. I have lived in San Diego for the past eleven years where i have been involved with such bands as Gunfighter, Black Bunny, Kingdom Of Snakes, Sirhan Sirhan, Rats Eyes and Otro.
