A personally autographed copy of "Zobop Bebop" and dinner with Demory for you and up to five friends if you're in the Kansas City area. Either dinner out (most likely at some dive-y burger joint or sketchy Mexican restaurant) or dinner in (in which case you'll be part of my ongoing experiment.) It'll be on a Saturday, either way. I'm a fun if strange dinner companion and I can spot/cook a hell of a meal.

Sean Demory is a writer living in Kansas City, Missouri. His previous published works include "Thunder Road," a smartphone comic illustrated by Steven Sanders (X-Men, S.W.O.R.D.) He works as a public information officer for the City of Kansas City, Missouri, loves to cook and hasn't had a night's unbroken sleep for more than three years, which is a good thing.
He is currently working on his second novel, as he's a glutton for punishment.
@angela Sadly, I'm not as strong of a baker as I am a cook, and the one thing I do bake well doesn't travel wonderfully. Still, something to consider for the next go-round.

I think you should add a $25 and $50 backing... in theme with the dinner, you could make and mail a themed dessert item (cookies, cake, truffles) to go with the book for the higher price. Food brings the people in?

@holly Where are you located? If things shake out the way I hope they will, I'll hold a Sean-Con in Kansas City upon successful completion of the project.
Wish I could afford the higher pledge, I am intrigued by Sean-Con :)
