Catania is a romantic comedy independent film by Doug Bremner and Sabina Vaccarino Bremner.
We got sick of kicking our screenplay around Hollywood over the past year and hearing comments like "Oh, wow. An independent film maker would really love this script," and decided, hey, why don't we make it ourselves?
So that's what we're doing. And you know what? It's the coolest decision we ever made. We're having more fun than ever.

No, our budget is $20,000. We are raising $12,500 from investors, mostly friends and family who invested $200 as co-executive producers, and a few who invested $2000 as executive producers. We are 80% of the way toward our private investment target, but without contributions from Kickstarter, we won't be able to make the movie.
