Hardware City Players is a grass-roots community theater group hoping to produce "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown" in April, 2010.
Hardware City Players will provide quality musical theater experiences for performers and theater enthusiasts in New Britain, Connecticut and surrounding towns. The inspiration for this project sprung from the fact that most area theaters produce straight plays, and many local musicians and actors have expressed the desire to participate in musical theater productions without having to travel great distances in order to rehearse. Hardware City Players will strive to include musicians and actors of all ages who wish to participate in musical theater performances.
Operations:
Hardware City Players meet and rehearse in the Art League building. We will seek to stage our productions at a New Britain venue in order to develop a theater community locally.
Marketing Plan:
Funding will be used to obtain legal rights to perform our first musical. We will aim to stage "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown" in April, 2011.
