Connected as Silas Howard (2565 friends)
SILAS HOWARD Bio, (writer, director, and musician), began his career in degeneracy by playing music with the legendary queer punk band Tribe8. He went on to co-create the avant-garde performance space masquerading as a humble cafe, Red Dora's Bearded Lady. Silas co-wrote, directed and starred in the film By Hook or By Crook, a Sundance Film Festival premiere and five-time Best Feature winner, in which trans male people experience drama and speak poetically. Howard’s short documentary, What I Love About Dying, also premiered at Sundance and played film festivals internationally. His music videos, webseries and short films have aired on MTV, LOGO and Showtime. Silas’s writing has been published in various anthologies including Without A Net, LTTR and Live Through This. He is currently in post on a feature film.
