THE STORY 

SILENT follows Anna Connelly through the tumultuous and painful day in which she decides to deal with her husband's infidelity. 

THE SUPPORT 

Donating is simple! You’ll just set up an account with Kickstarter and in return Kickstarter will hold your donation on your credit card until the end of the campaign. Why? Because it charges everyone’s cards only if the goal is met! 

So what exactly is Kickstarter? Basically, it's a crowdfunding platform that helps artists by splitting the financing of a project across a large pool of supporters in order to get exciting projects off the ground, aka, SILENT.

THE GOAL 

Our goal is $7,500, which if reached will go directly into production costs such as camera equipment, production design, transportation... etc. 

Could we use more? Of course. Can we exceed our goal? Yes! More funds means more resources, more crew, more creative freedom. In other words, exceeding our goal would allow us to tell the story better. 

THE TEAM

Jose Yapur / Director - Born in Mexico City, José Yapur studied film in London where he continued to work as a professional filmmaker writing and directing his own projects as well as collaborating with prominent figures in the industry as a screenwriter. His short film, TOY SOLDIERS, premiered at the British Film Institute to glowing notices and was recently in competition in festivals in the United States and Mexico, where it received the Jury's Special Mention at the renowned Guanajuato International Film Festival. 

Diana García / Actress – In 2006 she began her career by starring in DRAMAMEX, the first film by Mexican director Gerardo Naranjo (MISS BALA), which was well received in film festivals around the world such as Cannes, Toronto and AFI. Following her film debut, she has continued to work in successful Mexican films like CASI DIVAS by director Issa López, AMAR by Jorge Ramírez Suárez and more recently the hit comedy AQUÍ ENTRE NOS by Patricia Martínez de Velasco. 

Internationally she has worked in films like THE AIR I BREATHE alongside Forest Whitaker, Emile Hirsch, Andy Garcia and Sara Michelle Gellar, as well as the critically acclaimed SIN NOMBRE, directed by Cary Fukunaga and winner in various film festivals including Sundance. 

Soon, audiences will be able to appreciate her work in WHAT MAISIE KNEW by Scott McGhee and David Siegel and starring Julianne Moore and Alexander Skarrsgard. 

Harry Zehenny / Producer - Mexican filmmaker Harry Zehenny started his career in Austin, TX and has since moved to Los Angeles, CA to continue working in a wide range of film projects with the sole aim to tell stories with quality and substance. He has produced short films that were showcased in several film festivals, as well as a feature documentary and a Web Series.
