Making a short film in 48 hours but need funding- will you help?
The 48 Hour Film Project is a filmmaking event where participants have to write, direct and edit a 4 -7 minute movie in only 48 hours. I've had the pleasure to lead four teams into movie making battle and am hoping to do so one more time.
The Austin 48HFP is the last weekend in August, and in order to make this the best one yet, we really need a larger budget. That way we'll be able to afford to rent a high end camera, update the antiquated editing suite that I've been using since 2001 and maybe even buy a cool prop or two. This is where you come in. You donate money- we make a movie. There are some cool prizes if you donate and you'll be part of filmmaking history! Well, maybe not filmmaking history, but I'll sure remember you fondly even after your old Aunt Ida shuns you for turning down her rhubarb pie.
So we need your help. And by 'help' I mean your money. We might need something else later, like a back rub or someone to change the cat litter, but we'll let you know. Until then please donate to a worthy cause. And then come and donate to ours, too.
Thank you!
