Hello Friends New and Old:
I am just back from an exciting journey and hope you will share in it and help me complete it! A 12 day performance tour with 9 concerts throughout Italy, and ending in Paris with a one day recording session at historic Studio Ferber with my tour quintet plus additional local musicians. The recording day was April 30, 2012 - Also 1st Annual UNESCO International Jazz Day! "April In Paris" will be my 2nd CD - Long overdue after my first CD "Come With Me" in 2008.

Songs of Spring:
This CD will include 9 tracks including an original composition and arrangements by 5 of my favorite arrangers from all over the globe. The project theme: An international mix of jazz-inspired music in 5 languages highlighting Springtime and new beginnings.

All Or Nothing:
If my goal of $10,500 is reached (or surpassed) by 8:02 AM PDT on Monday, May 14th (less than a week away!), then I will be awarded the money and will be able to pay musicians, arrangers, mixing/mastering, CD duplication, etc... If I don't reach the goal, I get nothing. This goal is only part of the money needed to complete this project, but it will help cover the main costs:

1. Studio costs: $1400 Studio Ferber

3. Arrangements: $2150
    • Kamau Kenyatta (San Diego)
    • Danny Green (San Diego)
    • Emmanuel Massarotti (Paris)
    • Jovino Santos Neto (Brazil/Seattle)
4. Mixing/Mastering: $2000

What You Get With Your Contribution:
