The Story

Threshold is the story of detective Johnny Fallon who is after a killer. At the last crime scene, he finds a note left from the killer with an address and time on it followed by the message "My gift." Johnny is compelled to go to the address listed in hopes of meeting the killer he's after. What Johnny learns is that the killer had more than a confrontation in mind. Johnny has been brought to the house of the man who killed his father.

Why I am Making This FIlm

This film will be my capstone project at California State University, Monterey Bay. I also plan to submit this film to festivals in hopes of getting some exposure that way. I do not want to make a film solely to help me graduate college. I wanted to make a film that would challenge me as a story teller and as a director. I have made a handful of comedies in my classes, but I wanted my final piece to be serious and visual. I have always loved the look of film noir, so I challenged myself to make a good detective story with a modern theme to bring film noir to the present era.
