::ABOUT THE PROJECT::
Ensemble Mik Nawooj's new single, This is Why, is a hilarious parody of bad break-ups. Working with Bay Area indie Hip-Hop icon, Do D.A.T., and Reto Peter (engineer for such bands as Green Day & Black Eyed Peas), EMN promises the awesomest song possible in the entire solar system!
And possibly the galaxy!!
The instrumentation of the song includes piano (JooWan Kim), drums (Valentino Pellizzer), bass (Rob Woodcock. Yes. That's his real name.) and multi-layered choir of Christopher Nicholas (We will clone lots of Chrises and shrink them to fit in a vocal booth).
The music has been written, lyrics are done, musicians are awesome & totally down, an incredible engineer is on board. Now, we just need $$$ to make this all happen!
Any contribution that exceeds the funding will be going to: Our vacation to Hawaii. Just kidding. We will use it to make the music video & our End of the World performance on December 21st (The end of the world date according to some interpreters of Mayan Calendar).
Lastly, the song will be utterly and completely acoustic. No electronic instruments. Nada. None. Zero. Un-fucking-plugged.
