Happy December, Kicksarter family! (December? Really? Already? I have no idea where the year has gone)
I'm excited to let you all know that I have yet another Kickstarter song for your beautiful ears! This one is for my amazing backer and friend, Susan Zanghi. We all have our "good days" and our "bad days". This is just the way life pans out. But without the bad days, we would never truly be able to appreciate the good ones. We wouldn't know the beauty behind laughter without shedding a few tears. And did you know that the gold we have on this little planet of ours only came about because of exploding stars (supernovas)? Yes. We wouldn't have this precious metal without the death of a star. The poetry is all around us. And good and bad must go hand in hand. This is just the circle of life.
So here we go, folks. This is "Supernova": https://natalieroyal.bandcamp.com/track/supernova
And I really hope to expand on this song a little bit in the future. I just imagine MORE. So be on the lookout for that at some point :). Maybe on my next EP?
Speaking of other music, I thought you'd all like a little insight on what I've been up to lately! I did a session with Brite Revolution at the end of October, and the songs/videos were released recently. For some reason, all of the videos on their website are temporarily not working, but I can tell you how to LISTEN to the live takes of these two NEW songs!
Then, scroll to the very bottom. You can listen to both "Let Me Let You Go" and "Darling, Don't". These are two new songs, and I'm so excited to continue working on things for the next album (slotted to be released in 2014!).
And last but definitely not least, I have some other very exciting news. As of a couple of weeks ago, I am now ENGAGED to a wonderful man. To read a little more about this and see some photos, etc., you can go to my blog: http://giveeverymomentataste.blogspot.com/2013/12/giving-thanks-and-hey-im-engaged.html
SO MANY EXCITING THINGS. I can't stand it. Really. I am so in love and happy and surrounded by so much support. I. Can't. Stand. It.
I hope you all enjoy the new song and that you have a wonderful rest of your weekend! If you're experiencing weather like Nashville is right now, I hope you're nice and bundled up by a fire somewhere.
You are wonderful!
