And there it is! The final step in fulfillment of the Daron's Guitar Chronicles Kickstarter, mailing out the physical rewards!

Your packages will be arriving next week in the US, and they say 7-10 days for International Priority.

Every package includes two Moondog 3 band logo stickers. I sent everyone two instead of one so that you can either give one to a friend or STICK IT SOMEPLACE COOL! Please please send me photos of where you put the stickers! Not that I condone vandalism, you understand, but... I would love some photos of it wherever you see fit to put it!

Huge thanks to Alyse & Erica, who not only supported the Kickstarter, they came to help pack, and brought significant others along with to help, too! :-) Thanks everyone who pitched in tonight, Dave, Alex, Elia, and Kate!

Some stats and facts, because I love them so:

The total weight of the packages is 128 pounds. (Only slightly less than Daron weighed when he was living on ramen and canned tuna!)

Within the US, the packages are going to 21 states. The state that is getting the most? Not surprisingly, Massachusetts, with 12. Here are the rankings of the top 8:

That's a terrific showing for Oregon! Yeah! In fact, the only two states on here where Moondog 3 has not played a show are Hawaii and Missouri. Oh, wait, and Indiana. Carynne thought they were playing Bloomington, IN but it was Bloomington, MN. I'll have to come up with some way to get the guys to St. Louis, Indianapolis, and Honolulu at some point...

The most popular name among backers was Ann (3) in three variations, Ann, Anne, and Ann-Kathrin.

There were also three Beths, sort of, one who is actually Rikibeth, one who goes by Lizzy though her address said Beth.

Next was Amanda (2), Deb/orah (2), Jeff/rey (2), Laura (2), Mary (2).

Also one Cory and one Corey.

They're now collected in the latest ebook installment (Ebook Volume Four) which just went live this week. Yes, OMG it's true, the ultimate fulfillment of the Daron's Guitar Chronicles kickstarter is almost here. 

I've got the stickers now and the T-shirts and tote bags are in hand (or paw, hi Pu!):

And although there were some digital production snafus along the way that slowed down the process...

...the final, finished proof has been approved, and books have been ordered! Createspace, the manufacturer, estimates the shipment will reach me on the Monday after Thanksgiving, November 26th.

Yep, it feels kind of like a phone book, and is just as yellow as one! (we actually hadn't realized the connection when we picked that classic "goldenrod" color -- we were just trying for a D.I.Y. rock poster/flyer effect and that was one of the classic colors. Red seemed too dark and Daron did NOT want a pastel.)

And of course, chapters are continuing to pile up over at actual Chronicles website. We passed 300 chapters a while back, with no end in sight. I suppose when I hit 400 chapters, we'll need to do this again for the next omnibus! (Next one will be smoother and faster, now that we've done it once!)

The proof arrived early! Createspace, the printer, had estimated it would arrive Monday, but it came in today's deliveries!

It's big and beautiful and the interior is gorgeous and readable... many people are going to spend hours and hours lost in this book.

The only problem is there's a digital glitch on the cover, as we feared there would be, where some of the graphical elements came out mysteriously white instead of black. We'll resubmit a new file on Monday, though, to fix it, and hopefully by Friday it will be only a memory! If the fix takes, then we'll have finished books in less than two weeks!

I have ordered the very first sample proof copy of the omnibus paperback! It is supposedly landing on my doorstep on Monday October 22. If it looks good, it will take about a week to get the rest of the copies needed to fulfill Kickstarter rewards. If it has problems, we'll have to fuss with the files and output a new proof. Fingers crossed that it all comes out beautiful.

Meanwhile, T-shirts and totes should be ready for me to pick up on Friday October 26th, according to the fabulous shirt guys at Hemlock Ink. 

So we're almost there! I've got stickers already in hand and will have one giant mass mailing extravaganza to get out all the physical packages in one swell foop!
