This Kickstarter project will enable Jonathan Scales Fourchestra bassist Cody Wright to become a sponsored artist with Fodera Basses by adequately funding a deposit due January 1, 2012. (Fodera Basses have a fourteen month waiting period from the time a deposit is placed.)

This partnership is one giant step in the right direction for the Fourchestra, who has been gaining momentum ever since the release of their third album, Character Farm and Other Short Stories, in April 2011. Sponsorships are more than a just new instrument for the artist; they are a win-win situation for both artist and endorser; the artist gains a reputation for representing a certain company and receives publicity and discounts on equipment, while the company receives recognition for sponsoring an artist who is growing in popularity. As the artist grows, so does the company's reputation, and vice versa.

In October 2011, the Jonathan Scales Fourchestra is embarking on the final leg of their fall tour and will be recording for a new album in November.
2012 is bound to be a big year for the band.
