HOW KICKSTARTER WORKS!
It's simple. You donate toward the reward that you would like to receive in the near future. If our goal is met before our deadline is over, then we can afford to make your product and ship it to you. If we don't reach our goal in time, no money is exchanged and unfortunately none of our designs will be made, so you won't be getting your reward. SO LET'S NOT LET THAT HAPPEN!!!

OUR STORY
Hello! We are the Kuhl (cool) Brothers, Jason and Jordan. For over 15 years we have either lived, worked, or played music together. (www.facebook.com/farwellmusic) Over the past few months we have noticed our jobs were not allowing us the time needed for the things we love to do. After growing quite bored and feeling empty with our "normal" and somewhat "comfortable" lives, we came to an agreement. THIS HAS TO STOP!!! We need additional creative outlets. So we did some thinking...what can else can we do to be more involved in the music scene? What else do bands love besides music? T-SHIRTS! So why not start a t-shirt company? A company with a message behind it. Plus we can sponsor bands and even help set up events for local bands in Chicago. And who knows.....maybe someday start our own record label.

OUR IDEA

The message behind Machete Rejection Clothing is to "reject" the idea of sacrificing personal goals and dreams to live up to the standards set by society these days. Money shouldn't be the only thing that drives us to succeed. Actually loving what you do is going to be much more rewarding in the end. Reject the outside voices telling you that your ideas are too big or too risky and to just play it safe. In another sense, don't trade your dreams for security.

OUR GOAL
We want to encourage people to do one thing...KEEP FOLLOWING YOUR DREAMS! If we reach our goal we will be able to dedicate more of our time to helping young musicians succeed & music scenes stay alive. Life is about taking chances to get what you really want. We're hoping that whatever path this takes us on, it will open more doors and other opportunities in the future. Hopefully our message will allow us to pursue our dreams and inspire others to never give up on theirs.

OUR PROJECT After some number crunching we decided on $3000 being the BARE MINIMUM needed to get this project off the ground. The costs will include graphic designing of the t-shirts, web designs, promotions, sponsoring bands, and of course the t-shirts themselves. If we are fortunate enough to exceed our goal, we will be able to create additional designs sooner, more t-shirts and/or font color options, and maybe even extra rewards to throw in such as stickers, buttons, and even those super cool rubber wristbands!!!

Finally, if you decide to back our project and help us reach our goal, which would be amazing and greatly appreciated, you will receive an order form asking for your name, shipping address (so we can mail you your reward!!) and what design/size you would like. (other options may include your choice of shirt and/or font color) So don't worry if you don't see the option to pick a size or design RIGHT when you donate. THANKS SO MUCH!!!

Our shirts are meant to be inspiring, "cool and/or fashionable" (whatever that means) and sometimes just for fun. Here are the first batch of t- shirts that we have decided to launch with. SOME OF THESE DESIGNS MAY NEVER BE MADE AGAIN AFTER THIS PROJECT. SO DON'T HESITATE. YOU MAY MISS OUT!!! ALL Shirts with single font color may be available in different options! (t-shirt colors and ink colors and maybe even tank tops!!!) Other shirts MAY VARY in ink color and shirt color) WARNING: A FEW DESIGNS HAVE WORDS THAT ARE CONSIDERED INAPPROPRIATE! THOSE ARE DESIGNED SPECIFICALLY FOR CONCERTS AND/OR PARTIES, NOT YOUR LOCAL GROCERY STORE. YOUR GRANDPARENTS WOULD NOT APPROVE!!!
