No matter the medium, the most important aspect of creating art, to me, has been telling the story. Whether its in photography, film, music, or writing, I’ve focused on documenting events in a way that is both challenging and accessible to audiences.

So I started Mission Man Media as a way to tell new stories in ways not seen before. So far we have succeeded with projects focusing on Indigenous people throughout North America thriving in a 21st century world, a summer camp in Georgia for kids with Tourette syndrome, and now a multimedia project based in Africa.

Though I was born in St. Louis, extreme wanderlust has shown me many addresses, landscapes and people. What I’ve learned along the way is that everyone has a story, if you dig deep enough and simply take an interest. So I started making art in an attempt to tell stories that have been told to me.

And if, during the process, we can all learn a little bit more about ourselves, then that makes my job even better.
