Exciting?  Messy?  Entertaining?  Disturbing?

However you feel about it, The Occupy Wall Street actions have drawn attention to the widening wealth and power gap.  I’ve played my part in demonstrations and marches, but as a writer, I can best contribute by writing.  

With The One Percenters’ Little Gold Book, I’m putting a humorous spin on the true shenanigans of America’s wealthiest, in the voice of my billionaire alter ego, Thurston H., an aristocrat ensconced in the One Percent.

In the words of Thurston: This book will serve as a concise reminder of just how powerful we really are, and why that is so.  There will be facts and figures on the trends in our favor; powerful and distracting talking points for the media; a reminder of the Five Popular Myths that keep our plutocracy afloat; and sections on new trends in offshoring, fear mongering, and media manipulation in the age of the internet.

(Kurt again) The facts and figures will be true.  This is a concise, entertaining and enlightening non-fiction peep into the ways of wealth and power in America.  The $999 goal is just a cute target number.  Please don’t feel constrained by it, my friends; true expenses will be a good deal higher.  Let’s blow 9-9-9 out of the water.
