A narrative feature portraying the cause, act, and aftermath of a school shooting.

"The Glass Vase" focuses on the struggles of a teenage boy, who must deal with life after his mother passes away from cancer. As his anger and sadness redifine him, his life begins to change. He becomes a person who has lost all sense of hope and joy. He treats those around him poorly, and begins to push another teen to the point of breaking. Blinded by anger, he fails to see the harm he is causing, and the consequences of his actions. When disaster finally occurs, he loses his best friend, and only has himself to blame. 

Through his pain and loss he then begins to find growth. As the world he once new comes to an end, he leaves behind his past and starts a new beginning.

 This story captures the true teenage spirit, and explores the darkness, we all hold inside. 

The film explores modern day bullying, and how lives are changed with loss and despair,  at the consequences of ones actions.

It makes us think, "How do we effect other peoples lives?" And how fragile life truly is. 

We shot this trailer as a project for Shoreline Community College in Seattle, WA, with a $50 budget and the canon T2I camera. We hope to shoot the feature on the RED camera.

Who we are:

Directed by: David Golden, award winning screenwriter and director living in Seattle, Wa.

Producer: Tony Doupe', a highly respected actor, producer, and acting coach. He recently starred in the up coming feature "Safety Not Guaranteed", along with the "The Off Hours" an official selection of Sundance 2011, which was also nominated for a Spirit Award. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0235417/


We are hoping to cast some other name actors, along with a few new comers. 

We are asking for 30,000 as a minimum to shoot this movie, WE HOPE TO GET MORE. 

Production Costs:

Paying our Cast, and Crew. 

Equipment and Lighting Rentals.

Paying a GREAT Director of photography. (We hope to shoot on the RED Camera)

Food, and Location Permits

Location rentals

Props, Wardrobe

Make up, Construction Costs

And POST PRODUCTION costs

Along with other things in order to make a great movie. 

Every penny given to us will be put into this film to make it as good as it can possibly be.
