Indiana artist has once in lifetime opportunity to do a residency at the International Ceramic Research Center in Denmark.
So there's this scary moment in life when you graduate college and are launched out into the real world.
I am a recently graduated, emerging artist trying to find my footing in the ceramics world. I am experiencing withdrawal from the university's resources, and have found an opportunity to soothe it. I applied and was accepted for a residency at the International Ceramic Research Center in Skælskør, Denmark.
The plan here is to earn my MFA and to teach at a university some day. This residency would be a priceless addition to my resume that would assist me in getting accepted for a highly competitive graduate program.
Residencies provide a unique opportunity for me to have uninterrupted time and the facilities I need to pursue my current body of work.
Now I just need to find a way to Denmark, and enough to cover my expenses while I'm there.
Your support means more to me than you will ever know. Plus you'll get a one-of-a-kind piece for your donation :)
Thank you!
