In 2009, with the help of supporters like you, I released my debut record, Modest Conversation. Since then, I have been preparing to continue this dialogue of lessons learned from life and love with my sophomore record, Modest Conversation 2.

As an independent artist, I am writing to request your financial support. I need your help with the costs for production and post-production. Your gift will go directly to securing necessities: a band, studio time, an engineer to manage studio sessions and to mix and master the record, a photographer for the album's cover artwork, and a graphic designer. All of these are needed to produce a master that I will ship to a pressing plant for mass reproduction. Once that has occurred, I will promote Modest Conversation 2 on tour.

The overall budget for this record is $10,000.00 and guess what? We’re almost there. Thanks to 60 gracious backers who came together this summer to help me raise $3,875.00, we do not have far to go. 

Kickstarter is an all-or-nothing fundraising platform. If the goal is not met by December 25th, no money changes hands, there will be no rewards, and ultimately there will be no record. We want to avoid this scenario at all costs. This is why it is best to set the minimum goal of $3,000.00. The beauty of Kickstarter is that we can always exceed the goal; however, we cannot fall short. The more money we raise, the more we guarantee the best quality record is produced. Together, I am confident that we will reach this goal.
