About this project
The Voodoo Organist has the songs written for his 7th album, tentatively titled Organeddon, and is offering pre-orders and special deals to help make the recording and production of the album possible. Like all VO recordings, this one will be a bit different from all other releases. This will be the first album to feature vintage drum machines along with live drums and junk percussion. This album will also be the first to not use a Hammond organ exclusively. Of course Voodoo's 1949 Hammond CV organ will be used, but he will also be using his 1977 Yamaha Electone E50 organ on a few tracks, along with his Theremin, synth and mighty Moog Taurus II bass pedals. This promises to be Voodoo's best and most diverse album. Just in time for Armageddon, here comes Organeddon!

2012 marks the official 10th Anniversary of the Voodoo Organist. Since 2002, VO has played close to 800 shows nationwide, and has received tons of press - almost 200 articles in newspapers and magazines from all over. The vast majority of shows and press were achieved without a booking agent, press agent or manager. VO has self-released 6 cds, and 2 vinyl 7 inch records. VO's music has been used in a few indie movies, including Return of the Living Dead IV and 100 Tears. VO has shared the stage with many great acts, including Hasil Adkins, Black Heart Procession, Bob Log III, Stan Ridgway, Th' Legendary Shack Shakers, and even played organ and theremin in Dave Vanian's Phantom Chords. VO's sound is instantly recognizable, yet hard to describe - blending elements of many musical styles including blues, goth, punk, rock and exotica, the Voodoo Organist sounds something like the house band in Satan's Tiki Lounge. Sometimes the Voodoo Organist performs solo; other times with his drummer Robin Kennon. Either way the VO will have you dancing like the Devil.
