About this project
Are you an Adam West fan? Have you visited his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame? No you haven't! That's because after more than 50 years of entertaining his fans, Adam still hasn't been honored with a star!
Whether you're a fan of the original Batman series or of Mayor Adam West on Family Guy, there's no denying that Adam West is one of kind.
For the past two years I've been documenting Adam's personal and public moments as his family and fans campaign to get him a star on the Walk of Fame. We've followed Adam to the Kevin & Bean KROQ radio show, to Comic Con, and to a recording of Family Guy. We've also taken a deeper look into the concepts of celebrity and stardom, and examined the personal toll they've taken on Adam and his family.
We recently scored a victory in Palm Springs which finally honored Adam with a star but friends, family & fans still have their sights set on Hollywood.
After 65 years of stardom, why hasn't the Hollywood system accepted Adam and given him the star his fans think he deserves? We hope that this documentary will help to answer that question and to finally push the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce to take notice.
Please help by supporting this film and the campaign to finally honor a true American icon with a star on the Walk of Fame. Your donations will allow us to finish shooting, to hire an editor, and to license both clips and music. We really need your help to get this project to the finish line!
Thanks so much for your support!
