         LES nyc has a diverse and dynamic history of creative,cultural, social and environmental activity & activism

        From Late Night Clubs, Punk shows @ CBGBs and other local venues,Live Performances & Poetry Slams to Community Housing issues and local  Community gardens' Green Guerillas& Graffiti and Murals to Marches, Rallies, Protests & Parades --- this project, "Wildlife of the LES," would be the start of a series of printed portfolios(of my photos from 1990 to present) & text exploring and celebrating this unique community, it's creative expressions, it's gritty history & the diverse people who live,work,create in& visit the neighborhood.

      I have a vast array of images of this ecclectic and colorful neighborhood-- it's people & places. With your needed help, I plan on organizing a series of book & portfolio projects, a dedicated website & interactive gallery hosing site. A printed book/portfolio of images,vinettes& images entitled "Wildlife of the Lower East Side," would be the finished creative project in this first stage.

      To share these images & celebrate this very active neighborhood with such a rich history of activism and cultural expression---your financial assistance would be much appreciated, enabling the funds for printing, organization & creative distribution.  Rewards and thank-yous--for donations from $5 to $500 reveals the range of the project and the great potential extents for individual support.  All levels of involvement are important--as this is all or nothing--either the goal is reached & everyone get their REWARDS; or, it is not and we all get nothing.  You can Reward yourself--or get a Christmas or Chanukah present.for someone special... So, Thank You EVERYONE for your help and interest!!  ...&, Please---Please spread the word...and let's make it happen together!
