Here are some of the things we think makes The Chipped Dagger unique:

• Items and recipes evolve over time (gain/lose stats, etc).
• You can mint your own coins.
• Monsters and their abilities are randomly generated and evolve over time.
• World events happen based on player actions.
• Dungeons are randomly generated and placed.
• Reflecting ponds give you a chance to duplicate your items at the risk of loosing your existing one!
• Player owned housing to decorate and store your loot! (not in game as of yet).
• Discover new items!
• And more things on the way!

I love online games.  I like adventuring in a virtual world and interacting with other people.  That's why I decided to make my own MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game).

I'm trying to finish my game called The Chipped Dagger (TCD). You can play the alpha version of the game at http://www.chippeddagger.com.  It's 2D with retro graphics that I wrote in Java.

To date more than 2,000 people have logged in to play TCD.  The game is playable, but there's much more to be done before it's finished. 

Online multilplayer games are incredibly complex to code, test, and debug.  Graphics, sound, and server hosting all cost money.  I'm having trouble getting to the finish line with this project.

I'm proud to have a playable game.  I would be even happier to finish it!  I would be grateful for your support to get there.

Right now tokens allow you to get to the premium parts of the world which contains harder monsters and better items. In the future they may have other uses as well.
