The Why
In all honesty, short films aren't known for making money. That's not why we set out to create this film. We've sunk months, funds, and personal health into this... the reason:
To simply move people and tell a story that's worth being told.
Moving Forward
$9,500.00 is the bare minimum needed to back our project. Any money received will go directly into the remaining days of production (2-3 days), visual effects, and sound mixing required in Post Production. More funds, bigger and better fx...and we actually would get to pay the crew for their work.
And I'm okay with being in debt because of this project -- that's on me. Simply because it was in pursuit of something I'm truly passionate about. (Plus that 0% APR gave me another 6 months to figure sh** out).
BUT what I AM NOT okay with -- is not being able to finish this.
The people working on this have done so with little to no pay -- testing the limits of friendship -- but at the end of the day, they knew it would be worth it...
