Be part of creating a vibrant and sustainable theatre company based in Woodstock, NY and help us produce Season’s Greetings by the acclaimed British playwright, Alan Ayckbourn. With each play that we produce VOICETheatre is growing by leaps and bounds and this is happening because of your help.
Our budget for Season’s Greetings has been raised from ticket sales, classes and donations. We still need $2,100.00 for advertising, printing, costumes, props and audience platforms, creating the perfect site-specific environment.
By helping us produce Season’s Greetings you are also contributing inch by inch to the creation of professional theatre here in Woodstock and beyond.

What’s up next with VOICETheatre
We are also very pleased to announce that VOICETheatre is now the Resident Theatre Company of The Sanctuary Initiative at the Metro Baptist Church, 410 West 40th Street, NYC. This enables us to more seamlessly join upstate and NYC professionals as VOICETheatre grows and presents productions in Woodstock, NYC and beyond.
In April, look for the Second Annual Spring Play Reading Series. In June, at the Byrdcliffe Theatre we will be presenting Shauna Kanters' latest play, Birds on a Wire, (4 star review, 2012 Edinburgh Fringe Festival and Regional Finalist in the Kennedy Center National Theatre Competition). You can also catch Birds on a Wire in a three-week run at The Sanctuary Initiative, in the heart of the Theatre District in New York City.
Risks and challenges Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
Our challenge is to produce Season's Greetings on a limited budget. The test is to produce high quality theatre with little funding and this is why Kickstarter is essential to this production. October 20th 2012 we begin rehearsals and expect to have a very healthy and creative company present a stunning production but in order to do that it costs money and kickstarter will help us complete this task.
Cast, stage management, designers, art and graphics are all in place.
