Kickstarter

As many of you now know, I had a pretty astonishing weekend in that I posted my kickstarter campaign on Saturday, and it was fully funded and THEN some by Monday morning. Wow! What a beautiful, amazing and lovely surprise, and I am SO grateful to you all for giving so generously and so readily. I really can't thank you enough, but I would like to try, using the most effective way possible on the internet, ALL CAPS: THANK!!! YOU!!!! SO!!!! MUCH!!!! I don't usually pull that out, but it seemed like the occasion called for it. 

So I have been wading through hours and hours of footage, and just wanted to let you know some of the songs that have stood out to me: I have a great version of Border Crossing that was recorded in Edom, TX; Some amazing stuff from San Francisco including Grapes of Wrath and a few new songs; A version of Iowa from Iowa; and some incredible takes from Empty Sea Studios in Seattle featuring Michael Connely on mandolin. 

Right now I'm checking out a few places in the Northwest to mix the CD, that part of things will most likely happen in early or mid-July. I'm in Portland at the moment, flying to Phoenix next week, and then back to Portland. Like the proverbial rolling stone, I am gathering no moss but if I were this would certainly be the place to do it.
