idox for iPhone 4 is a sleek hard-shell case constructed of high grade ABS polycarbonate for maximum strength and durability.  Absent are the case edges allowing for a three sided, unobstructed view of the beautiful stainless steel banding of the iPhone 4. 

idox opens folio style to expose the iPhone, further rotation of the front cover converts the case into a sturdy, slip resistant stand for viewing or easy, unobstructed interaction with the device.

idox for iPhone 4 will be offered in two colors - black and white.  The front, back and inside cover can be individually customized with user applied skins.  Choice of skin graphics include variations of, exotic woods, leathers, reptile skins, textiles, distressed (grunge) surfaces, carbon fiber and metals.  The skins can be mixed and matched for an individualized look or fashion statement.  In addition, users will be able to up-load their own images to create personalized skins to further customize the idox look. 

idox covers have “snap on” – “snap off” interchangeability allowing different themes to suite different occasions or mood.  

The iPhone can be inserted in the idox case for right or left handed use and incorporates rubber feet to prevent slippage and 4 magnets to keep the cover closed. The iPhone is secured in the idox case by way of an advanced, releasable silicone adhesive that will not leave residue on the back glass.

Customize your idox for iPhone 4:

For this Kickstarter launch, a special combination of textured and vinyl patterns of brushed metals, carbon fiber and other skins have been pre selected for mix and match choices.  Different skin options are available depending on pledge levels.  Additionally, there are three levels of customization-front, back and inside front cover and a pledge level allowing for uploading your own photos for a truly unique idox look. 

Upon meeting our funding goal, a survey will be sent to all kickstarter participants for their skin choices.  All skins and mirrors are user applied.

We need your help.  In order to make idox a reality we will need capital to fund costs associated with final design engineering, injection mold tooling, manufacturing of inventories, packaging, graphics and the list goes on and on.  It is very expensive to launch new products, this is where YOU come in Kickstarters! 

Kickstarter Funding:

The Kickstarter funding is an "all-or-none" platform meaning your pledge amount and credit card is not charged unless the idox funding goal is reached within the specified time frame.  If the project is successful, production ramp up will occur and the rewards are expected to ship within about 45 to 60 days of receipt of the Kickstarter funding.

idox Pledge/Reward levels & Shipping info:

We will be offering 10 different pledge and reward levels to suite your fancy. The reward levels offer Kickstarters substantial savings below retail pricing.  Please choose from the list on the right to select your levels of interest. The cost of shipping within the continental U.S. is included. An additional $5.00 will apply for shipping to Alaska and Hawaii and $10 for international orders. Please adjust pledge amounts accordingly. 

Where we are now: 

Having been through the design, manufacturing and distribution of similar case products under the idox brand name, we will be utilizing the same U.S. based manufacturing facilities and suppliers as before.   These established relationships will allow for a quick turn around of the project from start to finish. 

The design, and prototypes of the idox case for iPhone 4 have been completed.  Current quotes on the tooling costs necessary to manufacture the casework are in.  Now the funding is needed is  to allow the idox for iPhone 4 to become reality. 

Be the first to get your hands on the idox case for iPhone 4 before it reaches the mass consumer market.  Pick up a few extra for that "hard to buy for" special someone then customize it in your own unique way.
