I am going to document the tribal music and dance of Southern Ethiopia. The documentary will be centered around the annual 1,000 Stars Festival, where 56 groups of the Rift Valley in Ethiopia get together once a year to showcase their music.

This project has already received distribution. Upon my return, Sublime Frequencies will distribute 1,000 DVDs and 1,000 CDs.

I am currently requesting money to help with the costs of flight, transportation in Ethiopia, and equipment that I am lacking.
