We're stubborn. We don't give up easily. After spending USD$4,000,000 translating the ISV Bible over 16 years, we're not going to let this situation stop us.
We have a number of options for typesetting. They will just take a little more time. A plan was sent to us by a fan out of Australia who works with LaTeX, a typesetting program used to typeset the World English Bible. Not quite what we were expecting, but certainly more than adequate. We're grateful for the help.
And our ISV Bible with text formatted for easy conversion into braille is coming along fine. It doesn't have footnotes, though. It seems braille doesn't support them.
And printing will come after we complete the typesetting. We may have the balance of what we need to print the ISV in the USA and in Australia/New Zealand by the end of the year. We're looking at taking a well-earned draw from the financing of our SWANsat project if the funding completes by the end of Summer, as we have been told.
We won't make Christmas, however. Sorry. But we'll get it done.
Be sure to tell your friends about us. It's OK to lose a battle or two along the way to winning the war.
And above all, be sure to send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org so we can contact you when the ISV is ready for purchase. We don't have anyone's direct email address unless you send us an email.
