Steve Ramey holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University. He has been a dishwasher, bowling alley attendant, chemical engineer, hardware store manager, book store owner, nonprofit office manager, and freelance writer. A graduate of Clarion East, he has published more than 30 short stories in venues ranging from Bartleby Snopes to Strange Horizons and Daily Science Fiction. In 1992 he married the gloriously talented Susan Urbanek Linville (co-author of A School for My Village and a dozen short stories) and added stepfather to his resume. They live in beautiful New Castle, PA, the fireworks capital of the world.

Jamie Lackey earned her BA in Creative Writing from the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford in 2006. Since then, her fiction has appeared in over a dozen different venues, including The Living Dead 2, Bards and Sages Quarterly, and The Drabblecast. Her fiction has appeared on the Best Horror of the Year Honorable Mention and Tangent Online Recommended Reading Lists. She reads slush for the award-winning Clarkesworld Magazine, and she's worked on the Triangulation Annual Anthology since 2008. She studied under James Gunn at the Center for the Study of Science Fiction's Writer's Workshop in 2010. You can learn more about her on her website, www.jamielackey.com
