FrankenSound's Warehouse is a brand new all-ages music venue in North Brunswick, NJ, just off the Rutgers New Brunswick campuses.

Until now, every Rutgers-area music venue has been a 21+ bar. Now, the favorite rehearsal and recording studio of both Rutgers students and the New Brunswick music scene is set to throw open the doors on our newest creation: FrankenSound's Warehouse.

We've invested over $200k into building our new facility but now, just before completion, we've had our additional funding (proceeds from the sale of our owner's old property) indefinitely delayed (the buyer couldn't get approved for a mortgage, so it's back to square one on the sale).

We have a great team of staff, interns and volunteers enthusiastic about this project and ready to work, but the last step of the construction will cost $10,000, and we've run out of liquid capitol.

This last piece of construction will complete the room's acoustic tuning by putting a safe covering over the delicate soundproofing felt that covers our walls.

Once the venue's construction is completed, we can start scheduling events and renting the facility which will fund the rest of our operations and marketing budgets. We're also looking forward to giving our interns the opportunities and experiences they joined us for (which many of them need to graduate). We just have to get over the hump.

We have 45 days to raise our funding goal through Kickstarter. If we don't raise the whole thing, we won't see a penny and you'll never be charged, so make as big of a contribution as you can, and PLEASE post a link to this on your twitter, facebook, etc.

Every tier of prizes to the right will give you a chance to come here and hang out with us, so that you can come see for yourself exactly what your contribution helped to fund.

But what if we raise MORE than our $10k goal? Well then that just means we get to do more fun events sooner, rather than starting off slowly with one event every week or two. So even after we've hit the target, PLEASE don't stop spreading the word or hesitate to make a contribution!
