Help The Flying Cars raise $12,000 to collaborate with film maker Daniel Stessen & cinematographer Sam Gezari on a music video!
Hello,
I am Bobby Gray and this is Daniel Boivin and we are the FLYING CARS. We are two musicians that have been friends and playing music together for over ten years. On our first national tour (as Asa Ransom), we spent a lot of time with Director Daniel Stessen (danielstessen.com) and Cinematographer Sam Gezari in Los Angeles. Developing not only a working friendship, but a creative connection and vision. The opportunity has now come for the collaboration to take off. Currently, Daniel and I are recording and preparing for the release of our first full length album “Cause of Motion”--
Stessen and Gezari have developed a unique style and a friendship over the course of several years of making things together. Along with making a wildly ambitious art-house feature film that is now in post-production, together the two have worked with, and made videos for extremely talented musicians including Ben Harper, Chris Garneau, The Morning Benders, Jenny O., and Illinois to name a few. Stessen's video for Chris Garneau's "Fireflies" as well as his video for Ben Harper's "Skin Thin" were official selections of the SXSW Film Festival in both 2010 and 2011.
With your help, we will be the next addition to Daniel Stessen's impressive roster of artists. The budget is $12,000, and must be raised in 60 days… It is an all or nothing deal. With a contribution, you will have the chance to be involved at many different levels.
We have incentives ranging from a limited edition vinyl copy of “Cause of Motion”, hand made t-shirts and printed posters, a DVD of the making of the video, digital downloads of the album, personal photo albums from the shoot, custom jewelry, and even Co-Producer credits!
The video is sure to reach hundreds of thousands of fans, critics and viewers all over the world.
