Hi, we're Noughts and Exes and we're about to embark on a music-making adventure of epic proportions!

For those of you who don't know us, we are an independent folk band based in Hong Kong. The video above will give you some idea of what we're about, but let us elaborate a little.

Our band is made up of amazingly passionate musicians from all over the world, each of us with a unique journey that brought us to the band. Now we're together making some beautiful music that we hope can touch others as much as it has us. We are fervently devoted to quality, and pride ourselves on crafting all of the creative aspects that accompany our music, including directing and making our music videos, designing our album art, photography, tour videos and much much more. Everything we craft has a unique story, journey and personality which, we hope, endears itself to the people who walk away with it.

THE LAST 2 YEARS...

In 2010, we released our album 'The Start Of Us' within our local indie scene. The reaction was amazingly unexpected - critical acclaim followed and we were subsequently named one of '5 New Bands to Watch' by TIME Magazine, and our album was shortlisted in TimeOut's 2010 'Records Of The Year'.

We have since gone from playing local bars to supporting touring acts from the US and UK, playing awesome international festivals such as Music Matters, BayBeats and MIDI Festival, and touring in Canada, China and across South East Asia. Our songs have even been featured on popular TV shows in the US and Canada.

NOW...

We never dared dream this before, but we're on the verge of some incredibly exciting things. Now we're ready to record our next album this summer and can't express how excited we are over these new songs. But we really need your help to make this all happen.

We've got a ton of awesome rewards for Pledgers, ranging from pre-release albums or a making of documentary, to the actual instruments used on the recording. You can even get an opportunity to actually sing on one of the songs! We really hope you see something that you love, and even if you're not in a position to support financially (we know how that is!) then please do us a kindness and spread the word.
