Your funds will be used for: a lawyer - film budget and schedule - finance plan - pitch packet - upgrade websites - business plan - and a lawyer, we know, we already said a lawyer but a good one's expensive.
This approach gives us the best chance for distribution and sales, which will give you the best chance to actually watch "Mickey Michelle" in a theater or in the comfort of your home. *Giving your film a chance to get a theatrical release takes planning way in advance of shooting and that's what we are doing.
At this stage of development, funds needed can range from $10,000 to $50,000. We have decided on the low end because we hope somewhere during all this, our story of "Mickey Michelle", will begin to gain momentum and take on a life of it's own. Also and maybe more importantly, every over-forty female lead we have approached has been interested. This we think might be a key - WOMEN supporting WOMEN. And men supporting them!
