What about chip and pin transactions? I realise that the US still has many old terminals that only require a magstripe, but in Europe/Australia it's more prevenant to use chip and pin. I assume this can't be replicated by the Geode?

@Eric: I believe it's stated in the video that some of the scanners can not read from the standard iPhone screen.

If it doesn't clone my cards, how do I add a card to the system and why does it have a card reader? Isn't the point to replace all my current credit cards with a single reprogramable card that I can change on-the-fly? I do have to say that the barcode display is probably my favorite part of this whole thing, but why not just use the phone screen to display the barcode?
