Thank you so much for your continued support of Givabit! Although it has been a while since we’ve updated, these past several months have brought us very close to making Givabit a reality. It's been a long few months of back and forth with our development and design teams but we wanted to let you know that as of last night we have submitted our app for approval with Apple!
This hopefully means the launch of Givabit will be possible first thing in 2010 (fingers crossed). We're super excited about this and we just wanted to say thanks again to everyone who helped support this project. We have everyone's selected charity and once we're live we will begin to feature them.
We will be in touch in the weeks to come to inform you of all new details and the official launch date.
Jake and Justin
Hello everybody! Thanks so much for your support of Givabit! We've received a lot of great feedback about our idea and we're very excited to get the application to launch as soon as we can. We are fine-tuning some pieces of the functionality, but meanwhile we'd like to hear your thoughts with respect to the brand. Which logo below do you feel is the most congruent with the vision of the application? Do any of the logo themes/colors evoke charity more than others? Would one compel you to give more than another would? We'd love to hear which logo resonates the most with you.
Also, if you haven't done so yet, please send us the charity you would like to see profiled in the initial release of the application and what moves you about their cause (in a sentence or two.) Use the "contact me" feature below our profile to the right of this post.
If you haven't seen this yet - we snagged some ink in the Chronicle of Philanthropy:
Thanks again for helping bring charity the world of mobile devices,
Jake & Justin
