AGGIEZ AWARENESS CAMPAIGN!

AGGIEZ are a stylish way to protect laces while personalizing shoes, shorts, sweats, hoodies, backpacks - any item with a shoe lace or drawstring.  Secured without knots or fasteners AGGIEZ prevent the lace from pulling back through the eyelet, and keep the end of the lace from fraying.  Each set of AGGIEZ have an image on one side, with the AGGIEZ logo in raised letters on the back identifying them as authentic.

Then name AGGIEZ was derived from the word aglet.

The logo is meant to resemble a pair of laces with AGGIEZ...

OUR MISSION

Develop fun and unique products while maintaining a commitment to social responsibility by supporting the local economy, using recycled and recyclable materials whenever possible, and giving back to the community through philanthropy.

 

 

We’re continually working to come up with new designs with over 40 unique styles in the pipeline.  We also plan to produce other types of AGGIEZ like dayglo, glow-in-the-dark, glitter, and jeweled AGGIEZ, as well as major league baseball, pro football, and college sports to name a few.

WHY DO WE NEED THE SUPPORT OF THE KICKSTARTER?

We already have both a production facility and recycled plastics supplier in place for manufacturing, we need the final push.  Your funding through pre-orders of AGGIEZ will allow us to ramp up the number of styles and colors we can offer, and kickstart the production of AGGIEZ.  Right now we are working a sample inventory.

FAQ

a. When are we going to receive our AGGIEZ?

There is a limited inventory of AGGIEZ that can shipped immediately, we plan to begin shipping in July.

b. How many AGGIEZ come in a pack?

Each pack includes two AGGIEZ with an image on one side, and a raised AGGIEZ logo on the back.  Both AGGIEZ are in the same color combination.

c. How can I wear my AGGIEZ?

AGGIEZ can be worn with shoes, shorts, hoodies, sweats, board shorts… any item with a shoe lace or drawstring, and an aglet on the end.

d. Do AGGIEZ fit all laces?

AGGIEZ are intended to be universal, so they fit most standard laces.  AGGIEZ do not fit on laces without aglets, at least not without some effort.  They also don’t fit on extremely thick laces like many hockey skates.

e. How do I attach AGGIEZ to my laces?

SWOOP, LOOP, PULL – 1.)SWOOP the lace through the top of the AGGIEZ, 2.) LOOP the aglet back and tuck into the bottom of the AGGIEZ, 3.) PULL the lace to secure.

f. Are AGGIEZ functional?

AGGIEZ are both decorative and functional.  They keep your laces from pulling back through the eyelets, and keep the ends from fraying.

g. How can I change my AGGIEZ?

AGGIEZ aren’t threaded onto the middle of a lace or secured with mechanical fasteners, so they can be easily changed.  If the fit is tight, you may need to push the aglet out of the AGGIEZ with a paper clip or similar object.

h. Do you have a patent for AGGIEZ?

Yes, we filed a provisional patent to protect AGGIEZ unique design and utility.

i. I’m an international backer, can you deliver to my country?

Yes, we deliver worldwide for kickstarter backers only.  Shipping costs will be higher and we are not responsible for customs duties and procedures.

j. How do I add International or Canadian shipping to my pledge?

Click on the blue “Manage Your Pledge” button at the top of this page on the right side. This will take you to a page where you can adjust the dollar amount of your pledge to include shipping. Next scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the blue “Continue” button.  Thanks for backing AGGIEZ!
