The senior studio art majors are trying to raise funds for their VERY FIRST exhibition. Please help us graduate!!!
Welcome to the KickStarter page of the Vassar College Senior Art Exhibition. We, as the graduating senior class, are working towards installing our final show in downtown Poughkeepsie, NY and need your help. Our show space is located on the corner of Academy St. and Church St. and is in need of desperate repairs before the show. Nothing too impossible, mostly re-painting, lighting, and general maintenance. Our department would usually help out with these expenses; however, this year, due to the current economic climate the department doesn't have the funds necessary to help make this show happen. Thus, we are turning to you for your support. Your money will go towards cleaning up the space, materials for installation, transportation of artworks and students, and food and drinks for the opening. In return for your donations each of the graduating artists are offering some of their original works. Please help us make this show a reality and please come to one of the openings on either May 12th from 12-5pm or May 19th from 12-5pm.
