'Deathfist Ninja GKaiser' is an American indie film that pays homage to Japanese tokusatsu (special effect) films like Kamen Rider & Super Sentai (known as Power Rangers in the U.S.). The film also parodies American pop culture from the 80's and 90's.
The full feature film is loosely based on Deathfist Ninja GKaiser, a webcomic I created a few years ago. The film will be a "reboot" of the story, retaining most of the characters but with an eye to making the story appeal to a wider audience. My goal is to make a film that will be enjoyable for both adults and children, and this will be due to the pop culture humor.
I am looking for $6,000 in funding to create the film. All of the money will be spent on props, set design, locations, and equipment. This shoot will be extremely low budget (for perspective, Power Rangers: The Movie cost $15 million to create) but I guarantee the quality will be of the highest possible value as we will be shooting HD. I have wanted to make this film for some time but only recently do I believe I have the technical skill level and team to pull this movie off. The one thing I don't have is money, and that is where you can help! A small donation can make a world of difference!
If $6,000 for this kind of movie seems impossible to you, then that is all the more reason you should donate! During production my assistant director will be filming a documentary on the production from start to finish. I will show you exactly how the film was made; from securing locations, to prop / set construction, to my home-made steadicam, and even how I get the film on the big screen!

Basically, you will come up with an idea for a scene in the story, along with the lines the characters say and what action takes place on screen! Do you want GKaiser to fight a giant mechanical spider? It'll happen! (The scene must be in good taste. We're aiming for a G or PG rating here!)
