My Life Story....

A KNG was born with no crown!

It was a cold tuesday morning...WAIT! Not that story, wrong one? Sorry!

BLCK KNG started with the passion to give the world a true clothing brand that represented the aspect of everything artistic in the world. Truthfully it is hard for me to sell the idea that i want to create a clothing brand because everybody is doing this and saying that will create them on high-quality shirt made in america. I want you to see my passion for creating designs and the ability to think of an idea and produce it. I have been in the arts since I was little  so you could say i am a professional! 

The only reason I have not released anything because I was scared until now to show the world what i have (Thanks Mom!) so now that i am truly confident in my skills and i know i create something worth someone actually taking a second look at and saying " That is really nice shirt"!

So here it is (drumrolll)......BLCK KNG (BLACK KING if you pronounce it), this is my outlet, my heart, my soul and i want the world to see it now!

So your a BLCK KNG, whats that?

BLCK KNG is everything that i interpret from the world from everything art or just sitting in class learning about history, science or what ever the subject is! The title "Street-Wear" is constricting because it is way more than that because in this day if you put words on a shirt or an iconic figure it is a masterpiece. I step away from that idea, they call it creative freedom when designing the way i do but i call it "Spazzing out" this means i let my hand take me to the next line or my heart choose the color and my mind choose the shape. It's like a triangle of creation, now you may say it is just a t-shirt, you know something you cover your body with but to me it is a self-expression, the connection of mind and soul and thats what i want to share with everyone.

OK, OK so whats next...?

The first line of t-shirts will be called "Visions" line. It is a line of ideas and concepts that went to my mind from visions of being an aztec warrior to a radioactive zebra in the wild fighting to be the KNG of the jungle. (Yes, I have a very vivd and active imagination!) I want the person to be able to gain a connection through the artwork displayed on the t-shirt and choose not by the coolness or "How Dope" it looks but by letting go of the norm and basically letting their mind 'SPAZ" out!

If you get the money, where will it go?

Well i have put money in this brand already to create samples for me to take pictures and stickers to give to those who support. However to actually put into production, i would need a help from you guys! That is where you and Kickstarter come (Like superman flying to the rescue!). I hope that i can raise enough funds to produce these 'Visions" and send out the rewards (Because you guys rock!) and eventually produce more t-shirts and other things like hats, socks, and GIANT FIGHTING ROBOTS *insert evil laugh! 

I will leave you with a quote my sensei said to me and i hope you feel the same:

"One thing about fashion it keeps being reinterpreted with the times, Timeless is Timeless & Classic is Classic and the People will be People but BLCK KNG will be your Voice"

Even if you do not back this project i want to thank you for taking the time out and reading my story and maybe one day you will be wearing a BLCK KNG shirt!
